Bhubaneswar: Prisha Sanyal Aich, Prajjwal Sutar and Rishan Chakravarty of SAI International School here have made their institute proud by being empanelled as child artiste by All India Radio (AIR) Cuttack.
The students had taken part in the Children Music Audition held in Cuttack in January. Rishan and Prisha were selected for violin and Prajjwal for tabla.
AIR organises music audition every year to select aspiring artist from different disciplines for performances on radio. The artistes are evaluated by a committee of experts for selection.
All three of them are active members of the Music Club of SAI. While Prisha, a Class IX student, has been learning to play the instrument at the school for the last eight years and Rishan of Class VIII for the last seven years. Prajjwal, a student of ClassVI, has been learning to play the instrument since last five years.
