Mumbai: Following the attack on Saif Ali Khan at his Bandra residence, the actor and his wife Kareena Kapoor Khan have decided to fence their balcony with wires.
As soon as photos of the fencing work were shared on social media, fans took to the comment section to sympathise with the celebrity couple.
“This is just sad…. I don’t think people realise the terror one feels when they discover that they are not safe in their own home. … Happened to us once when we were robbed… Took years to feel ‘at home’ again”, commented a user.
“I mean the paps + random ppl are literally standing at their gate 24/7 and can easily even walk up to them when they are getting into their cars etc. so not sure if they are taking the steps to ensure safety” wrote another.
“Probably for security from the same people who are recording it,” posted another.

Earlier this month, Saif suffered multiple stab injuries while trying to protect his family from an intruder at his Satguru Sharan apartment in Bandra.
He was rushed to the nearby Lilavati Hospital at around 2.30 am in the morning, and underwent emergency surgeries. The actor was discharged from the hospital after five days.
Following the incident, Kareena took to her Instagram handle to request paparazzi to respect their privacy.
“While we appreciate the concern and support, the constant scrutiny and attention are not only overwhelming but also pose a significant risk to our safety,” wrote Kareena.
