Mumbai: Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan is ‘recovering well’ after undergoing a tricep surgery for an old injury, which got flared up while performing an action sequence for an upcoming movie, at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital and Medical Research Institute in Mumbai on Monday.
“This injury and the surgery that followed is a part of the wear and tear of what we do. I am very happy to be in such amazing surgical hands and thank all well-wishers for their love and concern,” the Adipurush actor was quoted as sating by PTI.
Later in the day, his wife and actress Kareena Kapoor was papped while entering her Bandra apartment following a hospital visit.
The 53-year-old actor is set to make his debut in Telugu cinema with ‘Devara, where he will share the screen with Jr. NTR and Janhvi Kapoor. The first glimpse of the film was unveiled on Monday.
