SAIL Invites Online Applications For Management Trainee Posts

The Steel Authority of India (SAIL) has invited online applications from eligible candidates to fill up 399 management trainee posts through GATE 2019. Interested candidates can apply for the posts through the official website: www.sail.co.in by December 15, 2019.

Eligibility

The candidates should be an engineering degree holder with at least 65 per cent marks in engineering disciplines like Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Instrumentation and Mining.

Vacancy Details

  • Mechanical Engineering – 156 posts
  • Chemical Engineering – 30 posts
  • Metallurgical Engineering – 67 posts
  • Instrumentation Engineering – 36 posts
  • Electrical Engineering – 91 posts
  • Mining Engineering – 19 posts

Selection Process

Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their GATE 2019 score. Those selected will have to appear for group discussion (GD) and interview for the final selection.

Upon selection, they will receive Rs 26,000 per month and on successful completion of training, the candidates will be designated as Junior Managers. The training will be of one-year duration.

This is the second time SAIL is inviting applications for this particular recruitment. The advertisement was earlier issued in May 2019 for 142 Management Trainees (Technical) in Sail through GATE 2019. The number of trainees has been revised to 399 in SAIL’s November 2019 notification.
