Salman Khan Gets Bail In Blackbuck Poaching Case
Jodhpur: In a relief to actor Salman Khan, a sessions court in Jodhpur granted him bail in the blackbuck poaching case. The actor was found guilty and sentenced to five years in prison on April 5.
Salman, who was lodged in the Jodhpur Central jail for close to 48 hours, was allowed bail so that he can file an appeal in the higher court against the lower court’s decision.
The actor was granted bail on a bond of Rs 50,000 and two sureties of like amount and is likely to be released by evening.
The judge of the sessions court had heard the bail petition yesterday (April 6) and reserved the decision for today.
Salman Khan is charged for killing two blackbucks, while he was shooting for the movie “Hum Saath Saath Hain” in October 1998.
