Mumbai: Salman Khan has expanded his digital presence by launching his official YouTube channel on Friday, October 9, giving fans another platform to follow the Bollywood superstar beyond his films, television appearances and existing social media accounts.
Salman announced the launch through his Instagram Stories, sharing a brief video in which he recites the alphabet before introducing the idea behind the channel. His message hinted at a variety of content rather than a single format.
“Shuru se shuru karte hain… Mera official YouTube channel. A se Z tak sab yahan milega,” the actor wrote while sharing the announcement.
The channel gained traction within its first hour, crossing 14,000 subscribers shortly after its launch.
Salman’s YouTube bio offers a brief introduction to the actor, describing him as a “Film actor. Artist. Painter. Humanitarian” before adding, “This is my official channel.”
At the time of its launch, the channel featured 10 Shorts, with the initial uploads focusing on brief, light-hearted videos rather than long-form content.
These early posts offered fans a glimpse of what they could expect from the actor’s new digital venture.
While Salman is yet to reveal a detailed content plan, the launch has already sparked curiosity among fans about what he will share next.
Salman is currently hosting Bigg Boss 20, marking his 15th stint as the reality show’s host.
On the film front, he will next feature in Maatrubhumi, previously titled Battle of Galwan. Directed by Apoorva Lakhia, the film also stars Chitrangda Singh. A revised release date is yet to be announced following its delay.
The actor is also set to star alongside Nayanthara in filmmaker Vamshi Paidipally’s upcoming project, SVC63, reportedly titled Monster. The film is currently scheduled for a theatrical release on Eid 2027.
