Mumbai: ‘Bigg Boss 19’ runner-up Farrhana Bhatt has not crossed paths with host Salman Khan since the show’s grand finale. Given that the superstar disapproved of her behaviour throughout the season, she believes he has little to no interest in meeting her again.
Throughout her time in the ‘Bigg Boss’ house, Farrhana frequently faced criticism from Salman for her use of foul language and confrontational behavior toward other contestants. Just a week before the finale, Salman cautioned her that her actions were building a negative “villainess” image for her outside the house.
In a conversation with Instant Bollywood, Farrhana revealed, “koi mulakat nahi hua. Unhone grand finale mein winner ghosit kiya uske baad cut to this day, unse koi baat nahi hua kabhi (I have never met Salman. He had declared the winner in the grand finale, and after that I’ve never got a chance to speak to him till date.)”
When asked if she gets a chance to meet him, what will she do? To this, she replied, “haan why not, he is Salman Khan at the end of the day. But I feel like he would never want to meet me. Even if I want to meet him as a fan he wouldn’t meet me.”
She went on to explain, “The whole season he has been upset with me, toh shayad unko meri personality acchi nahi lagi. (Perhaps, he didn’t like my personality.)”
When asked if she has any message for Salman, she laughed and said, “Main kya message du unko (what message can I give him)” before adding, “Anyways Farrhana Bhatt kabhi galat nahi ho sakti, par unko shayad kaafi cheeze buri lagithi meri (Farrhana Bhatt can never be wrong, but maybe he didn’t like a lot of things about me.)”
Recently, one of the sponsors of ‘Bigg Boss 19’ hosted a success party in Dubai, where several contestants came together for a grand reunion and opened up about their journey on the show, and Farrhana was one of them.
Earlier in an exclusive interview with News 18 Showsha, she had addressed whether Salman’s criticism on the show had affected or bothered her. “I won’t call it criticism. I used to get scolded a lot. At that time, I felt very bad. I would be really heartbroken. But when I used to sit and recall his remarks later, I would realise that he is totally right. He says all that for our own betterment. When I recall each line of his, I understand that this person is right. Sir is saying the right things. He has seen the world. He has a lot of experience, besides being an actor. He has the experience of being a real superstar,” she said.
