Sambalpur: The Goddess Samaleswari temple, presiding deity of the region, will remain out of bounds for devotees for four days in view of COVID-19 and Omicron scare.
The temple will be closed from December 30 to January 2 to check the spread of coronavirus.
The decision has been taken by the district administration as the abode of local presiding deity witnesses huge rush during the New Year.
