Mumbai: Samantha Ruth Prabhu had a special birthday treat for her fans on Sunday, when she turned 37.
The actress announced her next project, a film titled ‘Bangaram’, via Instagram.
“Not everything has to glitter to be golden. #Bangaram @tralalamovingpictures… Starting soon,” Samantha wrote along with a poster of the movie.
Samantha also shared a video.
The first look of ‘Bangaram’ shows Samantha in a rough avatar as she holds a gun.
Widely appreciated for her work in web series ‘Family Man: Season 2’ and films like ‘Pushpa: The Rise’ and ‘Kushi’, Samantha mentioned that shooting of her new film will start soon.
Samantha was flooded with best wishes from fans and friends from the fraternity.
Celebrities like Varun Dhawan, Nayanthara, Athiya Shetty, Vijay Deverakonda, Rakul Preet Singh and Upasana Konidela, to name a few, shared their heartfelt messages, adding to the star’s happiness on her special day.
