Mumbai: Actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu, who was last seen in the Bollywood film ‘Citadel: Honey Bunny’, is reportedly going to make a strong comeback in Telugu cinema with a new-age social drama.
As per a report in Hindustan Times, the actress will not only play the lead role, but her production house, Tralala Moving Pictures, will also finance the film.
She was recently seen in a cameo role in her first production venture, a horror-comedy titled ‘Subham’.
The film, which turned out to be a hit, is now streaming on JioHotstar.
Samantha’s upcoming film will be helmed by Nandini Reddy of the ‘Oh Baby’ fame.
The pre-production of the film has already started..
Samantha is also busy with another web series, titled ‘Rakt Brahmand: The Bloody Kingdom.’
