Sambalpur MP’s Wife Targets Senior Odisha BJP Leaders; Alleges Plan Against Husband’s Career
Bhubaneswar: Senior BJP leader and Sambalpur MP Nitesh Ganga Deb’s wife Arundhati Devi has triggered a fresh row in political circles in Odisha. She has targeted some senior BJP leaders in a couple of posts in social media.
In an apparent reference to senior BJP leader and Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, Arundhati has accused him of trying to target her husband after making Subash Chouhan a victim of his evil design.
She alleged that attempts are being made to humiliate Nitesh by taking advantage of his simplicity. The Sambalpur MP is not being allowed to work for the people and several hurdles are being created, she claimed.
Claiming that attempts are also being made to prevent Nitesh from contesting the next elections from Sambalpur, Arundhati said that if the Union Minister is keen to fight from the constituency he could have spoken to her husband, who would have definitely extended wholehearted support.
In another post, she lashed out at Deogarh MLA Subash Panigrahi accusing him of spreading false and baseless information about her family. She said the BJP legislator is making false claims that there has been some dispute in the family of the Sambalpur MP and she will do her best to save her husband from all conspiracies.
There has been no comment from the BJP MP and the Union Minister to Arundhati’s social media posts.
