Sand Art To Welcome PM Modi, Amit Shah; Know Traffic Restrictions In Bhubaneswar Today
Puri/Bhubaneswar: Noted sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik has created a sand sculpture on Puri sea beach to welcome Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah for the 3-day DG-IG Conference being held for the first time in Odisha, starting Friday.
The PM is scheduled to arrive in the state capital at around 4.20 pm. Shah will be inaugurating the meet to be attended National Security Advisor Ajit Doval and a host of top officials of security agencies.
Meanwhile, Bhubaneswar has been placed under a thick security blanket and traffic restrictions imposed for smooth conduct of the pan-India event.
Traffic Restrictions for November 29
No vehicles will be allowed on the following roads and connecting lanes during the specified times:
1 pm to 2 pm: Airport Square to PMG Square via Hospital Square and AG Square.
4.45 pm to 5.25 pm: Airport Square → Hospital Square → AG Square → Raj Bhavan Square.
6 pm to 6.45 pm: Raj Bhavan Square → AG Square → Housing Board Square → Ram Mandir Square → Master Canteen Square.
7.30 pm to 8.20 pm: AG Square → Rabindra Mandap Square → 120 Battalion Square → Jaydev Vihar → NALCO Square.
8.25 pm to 8.50 pm: Raj Bhavan Square → AG Square → Housing Board Square → Ram Mandir Square → Master Canteen Square.
No vehicles are allowed to ply from Airport residential Chhak to ‘T’ junction (Pani Tanki Chhak), the Commissionerate Police stated.
