Hyderabad: ‘Pushpa’ star Allu Arjun, who is out on bail in the Sandhya theatre stampede case, got a major relief from Nampally Court here on Saturday.
According to a report in Hindustan Times, the Nampally court relaxed some of the bail conditions for the actor.
One of the bail terms required Allu to report to the Chikkadapally police station every Sunday. The counsel requested the court an exemption from the weekly visit, stating security reasons. The court acceded to the request.
The court also granted permission to the actor to travel abroad.
On January 3, Allu was granted conditional bail in the Sandhya theatre stampede against two ₹50,000 sureties by the Nampally court in Hyderabad.
Days after getting regular bail, Allu visited SriTeja, the injured minor who is undergoing treatment at KIMS Hospital in Hyderabad.
Allu was arrested from his residence on December 13 following an FIR in connection with the stampede which led to the death of a 35-year-old woman and injury to her minor son. He was later released on interim bail granted by the Telangana High Court.
