‘Sapanara Pathe Pathe’ to hit theatres in August

Bhubaneswar: Known for experimenting with new subjects, director Susant Mani’s upcoming ‘Sapanara Pathe Pathe’ will hit theatres across Odisha next month.
The film has star kid Amlan Das and newcomer Sunmeera Nagesh in the lead. Produced under the banner of Sarthak cinemas, it has dialogues by Nirmal Nayak while the music has been scored by Asad Nizam.
Sunmeera did a couple of films as child artiste but will debut as a heroine in ‘Sapanara Pathe Pathe’. “The audience response is all that matters, though we have given it our best,” she said.
The shooting and post-production is over and the team is now busy promoting the film.
“The film with an original storyline is based on a true love story. I am hopeful youngsters will like the concept. The cast has been chosen keeping the subject and the characters in mind,” said Mani, who feels audience will love Sunmeera’s on-screen appearance.
Mani is currently busy shooting Sarthak’s next ‘Laila O Laila’ with Swaraj and Sunmeera in the lead. His last film ‘Love U Jessica’ produced by Dubai-based filmmaker Akshay Parija is yet to be released.
