Bhubaneswar: As part of the probe into the stampede that took place at Saradhabali outside Gundicha Temple in Puri on June 29, public hearing will be conducted by the panel inquiring into the incident.
An official statement said on Tuesday that public hearings will be held at the State Guest House in Bhubaneswar on July 9 (Wednesday), and at the Special Circuit House in Puri on July 10 (Thursday) to gather more information and hear testimonies regarding the stampede.

As part of the investigation, the government has appealed to the public and organisations to share any information or evidence, including video footage, that may shed light on the circumstances leading to the incident. The evidence can be submitted in person or via email at puritragedy.enquiry@odisha.gov.in by July 20.
Notably, the state government has ordered an enquiry into the stampede incident that led to the death of three devotees and left over 50 injured.
