Bhubaneswar: In a sensational turn to Pari murder case, the sarpanch of her area has come out in the open alleging involvement of minister Arun Sahoo in the matter.
Sarpanch of Laxmiprasad panchayat Soumyaranjan Pradhan on Friday told the media persons that Sahoo is protecting the main accused in the case, Babuli Nayak, who is close to him. The entire administration including Nayagarh SP is trying to suppress the cases on the direction of Sahoo, he added.
Pradhan further said he is targeted by the administration for raising his voice against the murder of innocent girl. He also claimed that Pari was kidnapped and murdered by a human organ racket that is patronised by influential people of the area.
Stating that he and his family are harassed for demanding justice for the minor victim, he said minister Sahoo would be responsible in case of any extreme step taken against them.
