Bhubaneswar: A Saudi Arabia-returned 41-year-old man is among the five COVID-19 cases detected in the Odisha capital in the last 24 hours. He is a resident of Patia.
A city-based private hospital employee, who had travelled within the state, has also tested positive for the virus. A service provider of a private hospital in Bhubaneswar was found infected the previous day.
Besides these two cases, a 31-year-old man of Chintaminiswar with travel history to Delhi, a 26-year-old woman of Khandagiri with travel history to West Bengal and a 37-year-old woman of Behera Sahi in Nayapalli have also tested positive for COVID-19, the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) tweeted.
With these fresh cases, the affected tally in Bhubaneswar has gone up to 127. The virus has claimed three lives while 71 have recovered from the infection.
