New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Friday dismissed a plea to postpone the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate (NEET-PG) 2022. The exam is scheduled to be held on May 21. The plea was filed by a group of doctors.
The SC said any further delay will have a cascading effect on the admission schedule fixed by the court in January 2016. NEET PG 2022 has already been delayed by four months. NEET-PG 2023-24 has been scheduled in January 2023.
The SC said further postponement will cause unavailability of doctors and seriously affect patient care.
