Islamabad: Pakistani cleric Maulana Tariq Jameel has identified “scantily dressed women” as one of the reasons for the spread of novel coronavirus in his country.
According to ANI, Jameel made the comment during a fundraising television event on Thursday, in the presence of Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan.

The well-known cleric said that the deadly global coronavirus pandemic has been unleashed on humanity because of people’s lies, deceit and dishonesty among other things.
Labelling Pakistani media houses as “liars”, Jameel said the organisations “needed to be more truthful.”
