Cuttack: Two persons, including a 52-year-old male healthcare worker of SCB Medical College and Hospital, tested positive for COVID-19 in Cuttack in the last 24 hours.
He is a resident of Ranihat in the city, the Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC) tweeted on Tuesday.
The other patient is a 37-year-old woman of Sector 9, CDA. She is the family member of an earlier COVID case reported from the area on June 28.

“Further contact tracing, testing, and sanitization in the area are underway,” the CMC added.
With the two new cases, the COVID tally in the city has gone up to 39. While 15 among them are active cases and the virus has so far claimed two lives.
