Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has released the schedule for admission to various post-graduate (PG) courses in universities and colleges for academic session 2023-24.
The Higher Education department, in a release on Thursday, stated that the subject-wise merit list will be published at 2 pm on July 20.
The eligible students can file their choices of educational institutions between July 20 and 23. The provisional allotment of seats for first round of selection will be published at 2 pm on July 28.
Since the admission will be done through the Student Academic Management System (SAMS), the candidates will have to pay the admission fees on its portal from 10 am on July 29 to 11.45 pm on July 31. They will report to the allotted universities and colleges for admission from 9 am on July 31 to 5 pm on August 2, the release stated.
The department will publish the allotment of seats for second round of selection at 2 pm on August 7. The admission fee has to be paid from August 8 to August 10 (11.45 pm). The students can take admission in their respective institutions from 9 am on August 9 to 5 pm on August 11.
The seat allotment for 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th round of selection will be made asper the vacant seats available. The admission process will be completed by 5 pm on September 21.
Any changes in the admission schedule will be informed through newspapers and on the SAMS website, the release added.
