Noida: A Class XI student jumped off his 15th-floor apartment to die by suicide in a tragic incident in sector 78 here on Sunday.
According to the police, the 17-year-old was depressed due to his physical features and skin complexion. In the past, he had mentioned this to his parents.
“The local Sector 49 police station was informed around 5 a.m. about the incident which took place in a high-rise building in Sector 78. The body has been sent for post-mortem,” a senior police officer was quoted as saying by news agency IANS.
However, it is learnt that the parents of the boy were living separately. The police are probing the matter.
