Schoolgirl Donates Piggy Bank Savings To Odisha’s Fight Against COVID-19

Berhampur: Sometimes it is the thought that matters. And small children often amaze us with their thoughtfulness in times of crisis.

Responding to Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik’s request to contribute generously for the fight against COVID-19, a student of IREL School at Chattrapur in Ganjam district donated her piggy bank savings of last four years. She gave her savings to district Sub-Collector Shinde Dattatraya Bhausaheb.

Lauding her contribution, the CM tweeted: “Thank Adyasha Adyasmita of IREL School, Ganjam for donating her piggy bank savings of last four years to CMRF #Covid19 fund. The noble gesture will inspire people from all sections to contribute to strengthen Odisha’s effort to fight the pandemic.”
