Cuttack: School in Odisha have been asked prepare question papers for Class X half-yearly examination for 2024-25 academic session.
The Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha, has confirmed that it will not be supplying question papers for exam.
Acknowledging the confusion over conducting half-yearly exams, BSE Secretary asked the District Education Officers (DEOs) to take necessary steps to ensure that secondary schools under their jurisdiction prepare their question papers and conduct the half-yearly examinations within the scheduled time.
“The question papers for Class X half-yearly examinations during 2023-24 had been prepared and supplied to District Education Point by BSE Odisha. However, the BSE is making it clear that the question papers for the current session shall not be supplied by the broad. All secondary schools are free to prepare their own question papers or make necessary arrangements for the conduct of the examinations within the time period as mentioned in the breakup of the syllabus notified by the board,” read the letter.
