Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government on Friday issued the timings of Class 1 to 12 ahead of the reopening of schools on February 7.
Following are the timings fixed by the state School and Mass Education Department:
Class 9 to 12: 10 am to 4 pm
Class 1 to 8: 9 am to 1 pm
The department has ordered that dry ration under the midday meal programme will be supplied to eligible students until further orders.
Physical classes for students of Class 8 and above will resume from February 7.
However, physical classes for students of KG to Class 7 will begin from February 14.
The School and Mass Education Dept has fixed timing for various classes for the time being. Teaching hours are fixed from 10 a.m to 4 p.m for students reading from Class-IX to XII in all Educational Institutions under S&ME Deptt. pic.twitter.com/4M92MXGOs6
