Cuttack: The police on Friday recovered three more guns and live ammunition from the house of Dhalasamanta brothers at CDA in Cuttack on Friday.
Police Commissioner Sudhanshu Sarangi said the gangster brothers, Sushant and Sushil, are now on a three-day remand and their residence was searched today. All the weapons were reportedly found in secret chambers in their residence.
It may be mentioned here that police had earlier recovered 16 sophisticated country-made pistols, 24 magazines and 1,095 ammunition of different types, 16 mobile phones and four motorcycles during a raid on December 10.

The raid was conducted on the basis of the information provided by an arms peddler Prakash Behera, who was arrested by a special team of Choudwar Police earlier this month.
Besides seizure of arms, eight persons were arrested in the special drive launched by the police.
The court of Judicial Magistrate First Class (JMFC), on Thursday allowed the police to take gangster Dhalasamanta brothers on three-day remand.
