Bhubaneswar: Jazeera Airways J91565, a special chartered flight with 162 distressed Odias arrived in Bhubaneswar from Kuwait under ‘Vande Bharat Mission’ on Saturday evening.
According to sources, this is the second flight from Kuwait to have arrived at Biju Patnaik International Airport here with distressed Odias.
The Kuwait Odisha Association (KOA) facilitated this homeward journey of those stranded in the foreign country amid the coronavirus-induced lockdown and also supported them financially.
Institutional quarantine facilities have also been arranged in their respective districts, the sources added.
