Bhubaneswar: Junagarh BJD MLA and former minister Dibya Shankar Mishra got engaged to Priyanka Agasti at a private function attended by close friends and relatives at a private resort near Pipili in Odisha’s Puri on Sunday.
The wedding is likely to take place around 3 pm in the afternoon.
A software engineer, she is the daughter of Bhabani Agasti of Dekota village under Golamunda block of the constituency in Odisha’s Kalahandi district. According to her social media profile, she is working with Tata Power as Senior Lead Engineer.
This will be the second marriage of both Mishra and Priyanka. The ex-IAF personnel-turned- Junagarh MLA was earlier married in Jaipatna and later divorced his first wife. His son from the previous marriage is reportedly studying in Dubai.
Earlier, Chandabali BJD MLA Byamokesh Ray and former MLA Priyadarshi Mishra had opted for second marriage following death of their first wives.
