According to reports, a tight security net was thrown over the city, while the stretch between Station Square and ITI Square was declared ‘No Man Zone’ and government as well as private schools located on the road were shut.

Sources said the Chief Minister is slated to inaugurate at least 69 development projects including a railway over bridge (ROB) at Shobharampur between Nilgiri Road and Balasore railway stations on Kharagpur-Bhadrak section of the railways.

The ROB has been constructed at a cost of around Rs 375 crore. Naveen is also slated to dedicate solar-powered street light system on the bridge.

The Chief Minister is also scheduled to lay the foundation stones for 122 infrastructure development projects to be taken up at a cost of over Rs 1500 crore.

This apart, Naveen is slated to release Rs 220 crore worth Mission Shakti loans to 5600 women Self Help Groups (SHGs) with around 60,000 members. The money will be utilised for different income generating activities in different villages of the district, sources said.
