Mumbai: The Salman Khan-Shah Rukh starrer ‘Karan Arjun’ is set to be re-released in theatres after 30 years.
Announcing the big news for fans, Salman shared a brand new teaser of the film and wrote, “Raakhi ji ne sahi kaha tha film mein ki mere Karan Arjun aayenge… November 22 ko duniya bhar ke cinema gharon mein (Rakhi ji had said that her Karan Arjun would return, so this November 22 they will return nationwide in theatres from November 22)!”

Directed by Rakesh Roshan, the 1995 action-drama became one of the iconic films featuring the two Khans. Rakesh’s son Hrithik Roshan, now one of the top Bollywood actors, had worked as an assistant director in ‘Karan Arjun’.
Sharing the news of the re-release, Hrithik wrote, “Cinema was never the same again… When Karan Arjun came together on the big screen for the first time ever. Re- live the reincarnation of Karan Arjun in theatres worldwide from 22nd November 2024!”
The film also starred Rakhee Gulzar (as Salman and Shah Rukh’s mother), Kajol (as Shah Rukh’s love interest), Mamta Kulkarni (opposite Salman), Amrish Puri and Ranjeet as the antagonists.
The film revolves around the rebirth of two brothers, Karan and Arjun who were killed by the villains. After their reincarnation, the two brothers seek revenge of their father’s murder.
