Mumbai: Bollywood A-listers Akshay Kumar and Shah Rukh Khan can apparently never share screen space in any film.
Some time back, during an interview with DNA, when Shah Rukh was asked if he has any plans to work with Akshay, he said that it’s impossible to bring them together for a film.
Revealing the reason behind this, SRK said that he is a nocturnal creature and goes to sleep when Akshay goes to the sets to work. Thus, it’s practically not possible for them to work together.
“I go to sleep when Akshay is waking up. His day starts early. By the time I start working, he is packing up and going home. So, he can put in more hours of work. I’m a nocturnal person. Not many people are fond of shooting at night like me,” said Shah Rukh.
“It will be fun to act with Akshay. Dono set pe hi nahin milenge. Woh jaa raha hoga aur main aa raha hounga,” added the actor jokingly.
On the work front, Akshay’s recent release ‘Laxmii’ got a mixed response from the audience.
According to the Hindustan Times review, “Laxmii is a large-scale film that definitely would have invited whistles and claps in single screen theatres, but watching it on your devices, it’s just about passable. More critical audiences, however, might find it slightly problematic.”
Meanwhile, Shah Rukh is busy with his upcoming projects including ‘Pathan’. It’s learnt that Salman Khan has been approached for a cameo in the film.
