Shah Rukh Khan Donates 2000 PPE Kits To Chhattisgarh For Corona Warriors
New Delhi: Amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, several Bollywood biggies have stepped forward to lend a helping hand to the needy.
While some are providing food and money to the needy, others are trying to ensure the safety of the frontline warriors.
Recently, Shah Rukh donated nearly 2000 PPE Kits for the COVID-19 warriors in Chattisgarh through his Meer Foundation.
The Chhattisgarh’s Cabinet Minister T.S. Singh Deo took to his Twitter handle and thanked the actor for his thoughtfulness.
“I express my heartfelt gratitude to @iamsrk @MeerFoundation for providing PPE kits to protect our frontline warriors. Thanks @rajshriartist for connecting us and making this possible. Your generosity has inspired many more to protect our healthcare heroes,” tweeted the minister.

Replying to the minster’s tweet, SRK wrote, “Sir, We all are trying in whatever capacity we can to help our brothers and sisters to overcome these hard times.

Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh Bhupesh Bhagel also thanked Shah Rukh for his generous donation.
“सुप्रसिद्ध बॉलीवुड अभिनेता शाहरुख खान द्वारा संचालित एनजीओ मीर फाउंडेशन ने कोविड 19 से लड़ाई के लिए छत्तीसगढ़ को 2 हजार पीपीई किट्स उपलब्ध कराएं हैं। इस बड़ी लड़ाई में मीर फाउंडेशन के इस योगदान के लिए मैं शुक्रिया अदा करता हूं।,” wrote the CM.
Earlier, Shah Rukh gave his Mumbai office to the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation for quarantining women, children and the elderly.
The actor had also donated 25,000 PPE kits to the frontline warriors in Maharashtra.
