Mumbai: Mannat, Shah Rukh Khan’s iconic bungalow opposite the Bandra Bandstand here, is a major tourist attraction with hundreds of fans gathering to click selfies every day.
King Khan has been residing with his family at Mannat for over 25 years.
However, reports are doing the rounds that the actor will be moving out of the bungalow with his family by end of this year and living in rented apartments.
Well, the reason behind the relocation is renovation of the iconic palatial bungalow, which is likely to begin in May.
The actor has already taken the court’s permission for the renovation of this Grade III heritage structure.
Shah Rukh, wife Gauri and kids Aryan, Suhana and AbRam will be relocating to two duplex luxury apartments in the nearby Pali Hill area of Bandra.
According to a report in Hindustan Times, the actor has leased these apartments from film producer Vashu Bhagnani.
Shah Rukh has acquired duplex apartments on the first- second and seventh-and eighth floors of the building, reportedly for a rent of Rs 24 lakh per month, for a period of three years, reported Business Standard.
