Mumbai: Bollywood badshah Shah Rukh Khan enthralled the audience with his one-liners and his signature style during an event in Dubai on Sunday.
Among pictures and videos from the event which have gone viral on social media, one shows King Khan addressing actors from the South as his ‘friends.’
In the video clip, Shah Rukh is also heard requesting South superstars Allu Arjun, Yash and Vijay to dance a little slowly as he cannot match them.
“I have a lot of friends (from south India). Allu Arjun, Prabhas, Ram Charan, Yash, Mahesh Babu, Vijay Thalapathy, Rajini(kanth) sir, Kamal (Haasan) sir… but I have one request for them. They need to stop dancing so fast; it’s hard for me to keep up with them,” Shah Rukh said.
Followers of the South superstars were elated on hearing this and they quickly re-shared the video on their fan pages.
At the Dubai event, Shah Rukh also shared about his much-awaited upcoming film ‘King’.
“I’m not just shooting it here; I’m shooting it in Mumbai now when I go back in a couple of months. My director, who is Siddharth Anand, is very strict. He made Pathaan. So he is very strict. He said, ‘Don’t tell people about the film, what you are doing in it.’ So I can’t tell you but I can assure you it will entertain you, you will have fun,” said the actor.
Shah Rukh’s daughter Suhana Khan will be sharing screen space with her dad in the film.
