Mumbai: Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone, one of the most lovable onscreen pairs, floored the audience at the first World Audio Visual and Entertainment Summit (WAVES) in Mumbai on Thursday.
Twinning in black, the actors walked in hand in hand, and entertained the audience with their wit and charm.
The highlight of the Summit was Shah Rukh’s ‘romance’ with a water bottle, which left Deepika and the audience in splits.
In the video clip, shared by Snehzala, Shah Rukh can be seen romancing the bottle while delivering his iconic dialogue “Teri Aankhon Ki Namkeen Mastiyan Teri Hansi Ki Beparwaah Gustakhiyaan Teri Zulfon Ki Leharaati Angdaiyaan Nahi Bhoolunga Main Jab Tak Hai Jaan” from the movie ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan.’ Deepika couldn’t help but bursting out in laughter.

Shah Rukh and Deepika have delivered several blockbuster movies including ‘Om Shanti Om’, ‘Happy New Year’, ‘Jawan’ and ‘Pathaan’.
The duo will be sharing screen space again in the upcoming movie ‘King.’
During the panel discussion titled ‘The Journey: From Outsider to Ruler at WAVES’, reflecting on the insider-outsider debate in Bollywood, SRK shared that success comes to those who believe in carving their own niche.
“I have a problem with the distinction of insider and outsider. It is important how to make space in any world (Industry). If you pity yourself then you will not be able to make way into the industry,” the actor said.
“No world gives a damn about you. When I came to the film industry, I believed this is my world and the industry embraced me with open arms,” he added.
Shah Rukh kicked off WAVES 2025 by welcoming Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other guests with folded hands.
