Mumbai: ‘Shaktimaan’ fame actor Mukesh Khanna has once again raised eyebrows by blaming working women for the ‘Me Too’ cases.
According to Khanna, women are not equal to men and they should not step out of the house to work. When women do so, leaving behind their families, cases like ‘Me Too’ happen, claimed the actor.
Khanna’s interview, in which he holds women responsible for the sexual harassment cases, has become viral on social media platforms.
“Women’s creation is different from that of men. A woman’s duty is to be a homemaker. Pardon me for saying that the problem of ‘Me Too’ cases began from the time when women started working outside. Women talk about being equal to men and people talk about the liberation of women. But let me tell you that the problem begins from this point,” Khanna is heard saying in the video.
