Shark Trapped In Fishing Net In Odisha’s Gopalpur

Berhampur: A huge shark trapped in a fishing net was released into the sea at Gopalpur in Odisha’s Ganjam district on Wednesday.

According to sources, some fishermen had gone for deep-sea fishing off the Gopalpur coast last night in a trawler. During fishing, a huge shark got trapped in the fishing net. The fishermen later brought the shark to the shore and pushed it back into the deep waters after removing it from the net.

People from the nearby area thronged the beach to see the huge shark, which was a rare sight for them.
