Bhubaneswar: Odisha has added 58 new COVID-19 cases to its affected tally in the last 24 hours, the I&PR Department tweeted on Friday.
With this, the confirmed cases in the state have touched 3,36,042.
The state had reported 95 new infections the previous day.
Of the new cases detected in 16 districts, 35 are from quarantine and 23 are local contacts.
Sundargarh reported the highest of 10 cases, followed by Khurda (7), six each in Balasore and Puri, five each in Angul, and Jajpur, Mayurbhanj (4), Nuapada (3), two each in Balangir, Malkangiri and Deogarh, one each in Bargarh, Bhadrak, Ganjam, Jharsuguda, and Kalahandi.
Besides, State Pool has one case.
At present, Odisha has 799 active cases while 3,33,280 patients have recovered from the infection.
