Bhubaneswar: The daily COVID-19 caseload in Odisha remained above 200 for the fourth consecutive day on Saturday as 298 people tested positive in the last 24 hours.
The state had seen 228 cases on Friday, 225 cases on Thursday, 221 cases on Wednesday, and 156 cases on Tuesday.
According to the I & PR department, 176 of the new infections are from quarantine and 122 local contacts. Among them, 33 are in the age group of 0-18 years. Khurda reported the highest of 119 new cases followed by Cuttack (35) and Sundargarh (23). Nine districts reported nil cases.

With these cases being detected from 62,214 samples, the test positivity rate (TPR) stood at 0.47%.
While the affected tally has touched 10,55,132, Odisha now has 1,814 active cases.
