Mumbai: After the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) panel ruled out murder in the Sushant Singh Rajput case, Shiv Sena mouthpiece Saamana attacked the late actor and even called him ‘characterless’.
An editorial in Saamana slammed Sushant and stated that the actor couldn’t accept failure and ended his life by hanging himself.
The state government further targeted the Centre and Bihar police for using SSR’s case for political gains.
“He (Sushant) was incapable of controlling his off-track vehicle. As a result of this, he started consuming drugs. And one day ended his life by hanging… Mumbai Police was meticulously following the case. They are the best police team in the world. But Sushant Singh Rajput’s family was used for selfish politics. The Centre roped in CBI with bullet-train speed,” stated the editorial.
The article also stated that Sushant could’ve been tried for consuming drugs after death, if such a provision existed.
It also questioned actress Kangana Ranaut’s silence on the death of the Hathras victim. The actress was quite vocal in Sushant’s case and also got involved in a war of words with the Maharashtra government.
