Patna: Television screens installed at the railway station in Bihar’s capital city sprang a surprise.
With thousands of passengers waiting at the platforms to catch their trains or arriving from other places on a busy Monday morning, the TV screens suddenly shifted from commercial advertisements to an adult film.
People didn’t know what was happening and were left blushing as the porn clip continued for three minutes.
Once they gathered their wits, passengers filed a complaint with Government Railway Police (GRP) and Railway Protection Force (RPF).
RPF contacted Dutta Communication, the agency which was given the contract to run advertisements on the screens, and asked it to stop showing the porn clip in front of people of all ages, including women and children.
Railway officials registered an FIR against the agency, which has been blacklisted and a fine imposed on it.
The Railways is conducting an inquiry into the incident.
