New Delhi: Indian shooter Manu Bhaker missed out on a medal after finishing 4th in the Women’s 25m Pistol final at the Paris Olympics 2024.
Manu lost the 3rd/4th place elimination playoff to miss out on what would’ve been her third medal of the ongoing Olympics in the French capital.
Manu Bhaker said she was nervous in the final and tried her best but things couldn’t fall into place for her this time. The 22-year-old said that she has not been using social media to keep herself away from all the distractions. Manu insisted that this routine had helped her win two medals in the previous events, but today was an unlucky day for her, NDTV reported.
South Korea’s Jiin Yang takes the gold medal after winning the shoot-off against France’s Camille Jedrezejewski, who took home for the silver. Hungary’s Veronika Major signed off with a bronze after scoring just 2/5 in her final round.
