New Delhi: Actress Shraddha Kapoor recently triggered a hilarious meme fest on Twitter after she announced that she will be playing the role of a shape-shifting ‘Naagin’ onscreen.
Shraddha took to her social media handle on Wednesday to share with her fans that she has signed a movie in which she will be essaying the character of a shape shifting serpent. The actress further expressed that she is delighted to play a role similar to that which Sridevi had portrayed in ‘Nagina’ and ‘Nigahen’.
“It’s an absolute delight for me to play a Naagin on screen. I have grown up watching, admiring and idolising Sridevi ma’am’s Nagina and Nigahen and have always wanted to play a similar role rooted in Indian traditional folklore.SparklesPurple heart @Nikhil_Dwivedi @FuriaVishal @saffronbrdmedia,” wrote the actress.
