Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Friday joined students in Bhubaneswar to watch Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’ programme, aimed at motivating those set to appear at annual exams.
Speaking to the students during the session held at Unit-1 Government High School, the Chief Minister advised them to prepare for examinations with patience rather than coming under pressure.
Stressing that confidence holds the key to success, he said true confidence comes from honesty. “Do not wait for a comfortable environment to study. Instead, try to make every environment comfortable through your willpower and determination,” Majhi told the students.
Stating that that exam results do not define success in life, the Chief Minister said acquisition of knowledge is the real path to success and marks alone do not make a person successful. He advised students to face exams with a smile and move forward with self belief.
Sharing lessons from Prime Minister Modi’s life, highlighting struggles, achievements, and life skills, Majhi encouraged students to think about the future and move ahead with clear goals.
In a word of advice for parents, the CM told them to inspire children according to their abilities, interests, and talents. He emphasised that character development and discipline begin at home, and moral education from childhood helps shape students into responsible citizens.
With annual exams approaching, Majhi expressed confidence that students’ hard work will be rewarded. “My blessings are always with you. I wish all students success in their examinations,” he said.
The event was attended by School and Mass Education Minister Nityananda Gond, OSEPA Project Director Ananya Das, students from various schools, and parents.
