Bhubaneswar: A BDO in Balasore district of the state succumbed to COVID-19 while undergoing treatment in a hospital here on Thursday.
According to family sources, Simulia BDO Narahari Behera was undergoing treatment at the SUM Hospital in Bhubaneswar after testing positive for the disease for the past few days.
Behera, who also worked as the BDO of Dhamnagar block, was also known for his literary skills.
