New Delhi: Singer and Indian Idol judge Neha Kakkar is once again in the news following rumors of her planning to marry Rohanpreet Singh, a participant in the TV show Mujhse Shaadi Karoge.
As per some media reports, Neha and Rohanpreet are supposed to marry on October 24 in Delhi in a “lowkey” function. However, there has been no official confirmation by either of them.
“The wedding is likely to take place in Delhi by the end of this month. It will be low-key due to the pandemic,” Zoom quoted an unnamed source as saying.
However, Neha’s friend has denied the report. “No, she’s not getting married. The Rohanpreet rumor is just as phony as the earlier Aditya Narayan marriage hoax. I don’t know why Neha allows herself to be a part of such cheap publicity gimmicks. And more importantly, how and why do the media fall for it repeatedly?,” Bollywood Hungama quoted the unnamed friend as saying.
Addressing the rumors, Himansh Kohli, actor and Neha’s ex-boyfriend, told ETimes, “Well if Neha is indeed getting married, I am happy for her. She’s moving on in her life, she has somebody and it’s great to see that.”
The duo has been in the limelight since they shared a small video clip of the two lip-synching the song ‘Diamond Da Challa’, which went viral.
Earlier, Neha was linked to singer Aditya Narayan, where both of them pulled a massive stunt of convincing the public that they were ready to tie the knot.
