Bhubaneswar: The Final Electoral Roll of Odisha was published on Monday following the completion of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR), showing 3,16,32,754 voters in the state.
The revision, conducted with July 1, 2026 as the qualifying date, saw the draft roll published on July 5 with 3,13,87,034 electors.
Of the 3,33,99,591 electors enrolled before the SIR, enumeration forms of 3,13,87,034 electors were received, while 20,12,557 entries were excluded from the draft roll, Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) of Odisha R S Gopalan said.
During the notice phase, 58,36,392 notices were issued for verification, including 12,98,779 unmapped electors and 45,37,613 electors with logical discrepancies in their entries. A total of 2,55,996 claims and objections were received and processed during the prescribed period.
After disposal of claims, objections and other applications, 2,90,497 electors were added and 44,777 deleted from the draft roll, resulting in a net addition of 2,45,720 electors. The final roll comprises 1,61,30,319 male, 1,54,99,661 female and 2,774 third-gender electors.
The state now has 45,250 polling stations after rationalisation. The CEO’s office advised electors to verify their names and particulars in the roll and said applications for inclusion, correction or deletion could be submitted through the prescribed online or offline procedures.
The Final Electoral Roll for Service Voters has also been published, with 46,816 service electors. The roll is available for public inspection at polling stations and the offices of Electoral Registration Officers and Assistant Electoral Registration Officers, besides being available on the Election Commission and CEO Odisha websites.
Copies of the Final Electoral Roll will also be provided to recognised political parties. The final roll is available on the Election Commission of India and Chief Electoral Officer, Odisha websites — https://voters.eci.gov.in and https://ceoodisha.nic.in.
