Rayagada: Locals spotted a human skeleton leaning on a swing near Laxman Nayak road here on Sunday and alerted police.
An Aadhaar card recovered from the remains revealed that he was a Havildar with the 4th Battalion of CRPF and posted at Sesakhala police station. He had been missing since January 2, preliminary reports said.
Police have registered a case and sent the remains for forensic tests. Further investigation is on.
