Bhubaneswar: Experts from Bengaluru have prepared a sketch of the woman, whose skeleton was recovered from a seized vehicle in Janla Outpost police limits on the outskirts of Bhubaneswar.
Informing about this on Friday, Bhubaneswar DCP Umashankar Dash said they have received the sketch and the same will be sent to other police stations to ascertain the identity of the deceased woman.
Police sources said the structures required for drawing face and post-mortem summary were sent to a laboratory in Bengaluru which drew a sketch and sent it to Odisha Police.
The deceased woman was aged around 45 and 164 cm tall. She was suffering from TB, said AIIMS-Bhubaneswar doctors. According to doctors, she could have died in between September and December 2020, informed the DCP.
Efforts are on by Jatni police to identify the unknown woman and the exact cause of her death.
It may be mentioned here that Commissinerate Police had suspended the outpost-in-charge, Satyabrata Grahacharya, for alleged dereliction in duty as the vehicle was in the outpost premises and he was unaware of any such thing.
