Bhubaneswar: The Odisha capital saw eight more people testing positive for COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) tweeted on Tuesday.
While Sunday had seen eight new infections, the number dropped to three on Monday.
Among the new infections, five are local contacts and three from quarantine.
With this, the affected tally has touched 31999. The virus has claimed 249 lives while 31654 have recovered. Bhubaneswar now has 75 active cases.
